The Rotary Club of Blanco County proudly awarded six scholarships of $2,000 each to graduating seniors from Blanco High School and Lyndon B. Johnson (LBJ) High School during recent end-of-year awards ceremonies.
The scholarships recognize students who have demonstrated academic achievement, leadership, community involvement, and a commitment to serving others. Through its annual scholarship program, the Rotary Club seeks to support local students as they pursue higher education and career goals.
Academic scholarships were awarded to Julianna Foley (BHS), Carleigh Dotson (BHS), and Briley Sralla (LBJHS). The Joe Garcia Community Service Scholarship was awaraded to Landry Meyer (BHS); the Don Van Eynde Business Scholarship went to Jake Sanders (BHS), and the Career/Technical Scholarship was awarded to Preslee Farris (BHS).
